1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners, at the outset, very fairly submits that charges have been framed which signifies commencement of the trial, but then not a single witness from the side of the prosecution has appeared in the trial.
3. The learned A.P.P. for the State, Mr. Chandra Bhushan Prasad, opposes the quashing application and submits that since the trial has commenced, as such, the Court, now, at this stage be reluctant to interfere with the order by which the discharge application of the petitioner was rejected.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned A.P.P., the Court is not inclined to entertain the present quashing application.
5. Accordingly, the present quashing application stands rejected.
6. However, the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and to conclude the same preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if possible.
