The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Kateya P.S. Case No. 320 of 2018 dated 02.11.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

For the goat of the informant having strayed in the vegetable field of the petitioners, the petitioners are alleged to have indulged in assault. Though the informant claims to have been injured in the occurrence but there is no injury report on the record.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the petitioners and the informant being co-villagers and neighbours as well, they are directed to be released

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7238 of 2019(2) dt.07-02-2019 2/2 on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additonal Chief Judicial Magistrate, XV, Gopalganj in connection with Kateya P.S.
