JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 13-04-2018 A Fair Price Dealers Association has come out with this Public Interest Litigation claiming payment of dues of the P.D.S. Dealers along with interest. It is stated that the dues are payable for the month of November and December, 2010. It is stated that in view of the overwhelming documents filed the authorities

Patna High Court CWJC No.13958 of 2017 dt.13-04-2018 2/2 having admitted the claim, a mandamus be issued in this Public Interest Litigation for paying the dues of all the P.D.S. Dealers. In a Public Interest Litigation at the instance of an association, that also with regard to payment of dues for the period 2010, we are not inclined to exercise our extraordinary jurisdiction and issue any mandamus, as prayed for. The P.D.S. Dealers who have not been paid dues are granted liberty to approach the competent authority or invoke the jurisdiction of a competent statutory authority or court in the matter of redressal of the grievance.
