The petitioner seeks bail in Special Case No. 7/2015, arising out of Vigilance Case No. 33/2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 7, 13(2) r/w Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The petitioner was caught red handed accepting bribe of Rs. 40,000/- for providing salary.

It is submitted that Md. Mobin Akhtar was dismissed from service on the ground of submitting forge certificate. The District Teacher Employment Appellate Authority, Purnea set aside the order of dismissal of the informer and handed over the case to the Secretary of the Panchayat for re-consideration. Charge-sheet has already been submitted. The petitioner, being Mukhiya of the Panchayat, is in jail for three and half month.

No.39334 of 2015 (2) dt.31-08-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Vigilance-II, Patna, in connection with Special Case No. 7/2015 arising out of Vigilance P.S. Case No. 33/2015.
