This application has been filed for grant of regular bail arises out of Kochadhaman P.S. Case No. 307 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 461 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution, petitioner is involved in large number of cases which are exceeding 16 cases of similar nature which are from year 2017 to 2022 and prayer for bail in some other session trial cases have recently been rejected. Petitioner is in custody since 24.02.2022.

In view of the aforesaid fact, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6935 of 2023(2) dt.16-05-2023 2/2 Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The District Judge, Kishanganj is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases pending against the petitioner. The Superintendent of Police, Kishanganj is also directed to cooperate in the disposal of the trial and sent a report of the trial within six months as directed by this Court. Let a copy of this order be communicated to District Judge, Kishanganj and Superintendent of Police, Kishanganj for its forthwith compliance.
