This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R. of Gopalpur (Rangra) P.S. Case No. 68/16 dated 30.03.2016 instituted for the offence under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

Learned A.P.P. has pointed out that this case is of the year 2016 and, therefore, in all its probability, the investigation must have been completed.

If the investigation is still pending, this Court directs that the same ought to be completed within a period of three months from today.
