The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kochadhaman P.S. Case No. 124 of 2020 registered under Sections 18(A), 18(C) read with Sections 27(b) ii, 27(d) and 28 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rule 1945. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that the petitioner has not sold any medicine to anybody. The recovery is of a very small quantity of medicines kept in a bag which does not belong to the petitioner. Petitioner is a man of clean antecedent.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16883 of 2021(2) dt.04-01-2022 2/2 case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in connection with Kochadhaman P.S. Case No. 124 of 2020, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
