JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-02-2020 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sachiwalya P.S. Case No. 63 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 356 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the written information when the informant was returning from Jangal trial, in her way, a boy pushed her down and snatched gold chain and locked her. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R., later on, his name transpires during investigation. Apart from that, he is an accused in four others cases.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that, he has criminal antecedent. He has been arrested in connection with this case and police forcibly recorded his confessional statement. No incriminating articles have been

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6061 of 2020(2) dt.04-02-2020 2/2 recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he is in custody since 15.05.2018. Charge has already been framed in this case and up till now, not a single witness has been examined.

Having heard both sides, in view of the submissions, made above, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Court of Sri Ranvijay Kumar, A.C.J.M.-II, Patna, in connection with Sachiwalya P. S. Case No. 63 of 2018, subject to the condition that he has to appear before the Police of his local area for a period of one year so that the Police may watch the activities of the petitioner and he has to cooperate in the disposal of the trial and appear as and when required failing which the bail bond of the petitioner shall be canceled.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the Senior S.P., Patna for needful.
