1. This court has passed a detailed order on 08.05.2025, which is as follows:

"1. No representation on behalf of the petitioners.

2. It is contended by the Learned senior counsel, Mr. Anand Kumar Ojha, for the respondents that preliminary objection has been taken in the counter affidavit at Para 5 that an alternative

Patna High Court CWJC No.11182 of 2017(3) dt.13-05-2025 2/3 remedy is available under Section 42(5) of the Electricity Act and the petitioner has to submit has grievance alongwith the documents for adjudication and the Writ petition is itself not maintainable.

3. However, for hearing the Learned counsel for the petitioner, as a last indulgence, list on 13.05.2025."

2. Heard the Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the Learned senior counsel, Mr. Anand Kumar Ojha for the respondents.

3. It is evident that there is alternative remedy available to the petitioner, therefore, the petitioner shall avail the remedy under Section 42(5) of the Electricity Act, 2003.

4. Therefore, this Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the appropriate authority within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In turn, the respondent authority shall pass appropriate orders considering the merits of the case within two months from the date of filing of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.11182 of 2017(3) dt.13-05-2025 3/3 representation.

5. With the aforesaid observations, the Writ petition is disposed of.
