Mrs.Asha Devi ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 31-01-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Dhamdaha P.S. Case No. 180 of 2019 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that liquor was sized from the joint house and not from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 28.08.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 4 litres of country made liquor was seized.

Considering the quantity of liquor, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum- Special Judge, Excise Act, Purnia in connection with Dhamdaha P.S. Case No. 180 of 2019.
