2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Punpun P. S. Case No. 389 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1), 61(2), 238 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. As per prosecution case, co-accused Nawal Yadav took the son of informant with him on pretext of purchasing land and on next day, dead body of the son of informant was found near railway track.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Co-accused Nawal Yadav, who, allegedly, took the deceased with him has
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7330 of 2026(2) dt.16-02-2026 2/2 already been granted regular bail by this court vide order dated 10.11.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 61737 of 2025. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 24.12.2024.
5. Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that trial in on the verge of conclusion and till now, all the witnesses have been examined except the doctor.
6. Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent and period of custody, this bail application is allowed. The petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Masaurhi, Patna in connection with Punpun P.
