JUSTICE JITENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 24-02-2025 After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Special P.P. for the Vigilance Department, learned counsel for the petitioner is seeking permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to raise his defence during trial. He further submits that the prosecution of the case has been initiated by lodging of the FIR in the year 2014 i.e. about 11 years back and the case is still at the stage of the prosecution evidence. Hence, he is seeking direction to the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year in the interest of justice.

3. Hence, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with direction to the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial preferably within one year by running the case on day
