2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 388 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376(A)(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/6 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of committing rape upon a four year victim.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner and the informant are neighbours and reside in the same village. The petitioner is in jail since 15.11.2023.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the serious nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
