2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sohsarai P.S. Case No. 311 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, unknown criminals are said to have committed loot in the house of the informant.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 24.07.2023.

5. The name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement of the gold smith who had purchased the looted ornaments from the petitioner.

6. The petitioner is accused in 17 more cases of similar and serious allegations.

7. Considering the materials available against the petitioner on record and the criminal antecedents of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8007 of 2026(3) dt.26-03-2026 2/2 petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
