The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is not named in the FIR. The dead body of the father of the informant was recovered. Name of the petitioner surfaced in the case in the confessional statement of coaccused Banori Paswan and Mahendra Paswan. Save and except the confession of co-accused, the police did not collect any further evidence to show the involvement of the petitioner rather the I.O. took the statement of the villagers who disclosed that the petitioner was not present in the village at the time of occurrence.
