2. The writ petition has been filed :- "in the nature of mandamus for direction to the informant to pay the quantum of compensation amount at present prevailing rate for the land acquired by the respondents for the Bilasai Jalasay Project in the District of Banka"
3. A counter affidavit on behalf of Respondent No. 5 is on record. The State counsel has taken this Court to
Patna High Court CWJC No.10838 of 2017(2) dt.28-04-2025 2/2 paragraph-7 to show that despite notice, the petitioner failed to approach the concerned authority by producing relevant documents and as such, no payment could be made.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be approaching the concerned authority in next four weeks.
5. It is for the petitioner to decide whether to approach or not as the counter affidavit is of the year 2017 and a copy was served in the year 2018 duly accepted by the learned counsel for the petitioner. No rejoinder is there.
6. However, if the petitioner approaches along with the relevant documents, the matter be taken to its logical conclusion.
7. The writ petition stands disposed of.
