2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing and commending the respondent authorities to make payment of due amount of compensation to the petitioner after determination of the nature of the land in lieu of land acquired by the National High Way Authority in terms of Right of Fair

Patna High Court CWJC No.10175 of 2016(2) dt.21-07-2025 2/2 Compensation and Transparency Provision contained in section 24 of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation Act, 2013 at current circle rate and/or for issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/ directions which seem just and equitable in the facts and circumstances stated hereunder.

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be approaching the District Land Acquisition Officer, Darbhanga afresh along with all the relevant documents.

4. Learned State Counsel submits that in case, the same is preferred, the matter will be taken to its logical conclusion.

5. In that background, the writ petition is disposed of allowing the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 8, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Darbhanga who after noticing/hearing the relevant parties, shall be taking the matter to its logical conclusion preferably by 31 March, 2026.
