Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Admittedly the petitioner is not the contestant to the post of Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Jalalgarh in the district of Purnea. The election to the post of Pramukh has also been held. Even otherwise where the petitioner is not a candidate for the post, he cannot be said to be a person aggrieved by the said election. No cause for indulgence is made out, the writ petition is disposed of.
