In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with K.Hat (Madhubani) P.S. Case No. 63 of 2016 registered for offence punishable under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that the petitioner being the Branch Manager of Indian Overseas Bank, has allowed the application made by the informant for Tempo and accordingly the informant was handed over the tempo, but an application has been made that the copy of insurance and registration book has not been given to the informant.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that so far insurance paper is concerned, he will receive the same from the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7714 of 2019(2) dt.11-02-2019 2/2 concerned office and registration certificate will be received from the office of D.T.O., Purnea. Further if the informant has been deprived of the insurance, the concerned authority will look into the matter so that the informant would receive the copy of insurance as well as registration certificate. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed and he, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks from today, is directed to be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with K.Hat (Madhubani) P.S. Case No.

63 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438 Cr. PC and also subject to the condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be a local person having sufficient immovable property within the jurisdiction of the concerned Court. The petitioner will not induce any witness or tamper with the evidence. The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
