The petitioner seeks bail in Kankarbagh P.S. Case No. 104/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is the husband of the deceased Manju Devi. The petitioner is alleged to have killed his wife by strangulating her.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the wife was of short temper and she committed suicide. There was no demand of dowry. The wife of the petitioner is alleged to have been killed within nine months of her marriage. Belt was also recovered from which she was strangulated to death.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13036 of 2015 (3) dt.06-08-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months from the date of receipt of this order.
