Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No. 302 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 17.09.2022 and there is recovery of 1163.4 liters of Nepali Saufi liquor and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7209 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody, clean antecedent and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court-I in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No. 302/2022.
