The petitioner seeks bail in Harnaut P.S. Case No. 480 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 323 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the FIR, 09 named including this petitioner and 8 to 10 unknown persons abused and attacked police officials with bricks, stones etc. as a result of which some of the police officials sustained injury.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is general and omnibus allegation and no specific overt act has been raised against this petitioner. Injuries have been found to be simple in nature. Petitioner is in custody since 19.11.2021. Investigation is complete.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7189 of 2022(2) dt.07-04-2022 2/2 the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda, Biharsharif in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No. 480 of 2021.
