Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Piri Bazar P.S. Case No. 161 of 2021 registered for the offence under Section 30(a)(b)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.09.2022 and there is recovery of 206 litres of country made liquor from his possession and he has four criminal antecedents.

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the period of custody and recovery of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7613 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2023 2/2 liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-IV-cum-Special Judge 1st Class, Lakhisarai in connection with Piri Bazar P.S. Case No. 161 of 2021.

The petitioner will visit Piri Bazar Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would be result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
