JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 18-07-2017 The appellant was a contract appointee and in the contract of appointment, it was indicated that he shall be paid a sum of Rs. 8,000/- per month as a consolidated remuneration for the contract period. The contract came to an end and after completion of the contract period, the appellant claimed higher benefits of salary on a pay scale based on the various circulars of the State Government and when the same was not granted, the writ petition was filed. The learned Writ Court has found that after having worked for the entire contract period based on the terms and

Patna High Court LPA No.1093 of 2016 dt.18-07-2017 2/2 conditions of the contract, approaching the Writ Court claiming higher benefits of salary after two years of termination of the contract is not permissible and in doing so, we are of the considered view that learned Writ Court has not committed any error warranting reconsideration.

The appeal stands dismissed.
