The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Dhanaha PS Case No.180 of 2019 registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 .

Allegation against the petitioner is about recovery of 37 and odd ltrs. of liquor from the house of the petitioner. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 3.11.2019. Charge sheet has already been submitted and there is no chance of tampering with the evidence.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and

No.4959 of 2020(2) dt.31-01-2020 2/2 circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, West Champaran in connection with Dhanaha P.S.Case No.180 of 2019.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is allowed.
