The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 366A of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is alleged to have kidnapped the victim for the purpose of marriage. The victim was recovered on the next day and she also disclosed the facts that it was the petitioner who took her to the house of his maternal aunt and wanted to marry with her.

Submission is that the petitioner did not subject her to torture or did not try to outrage her modesty. The petitioner is in jail for more than 61⁄2 months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of
