The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 385/387 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is not named in the FIR. Rs. 10 lacs was demanded as extortion from the mobile. The petitioner and Abhiranjan Singh were apprehended. The police took the confessional statement of the petitioner and another accused but no further tangible evidence was collected. Abhiranjan Singh has already been enlarged on bail vide order passed in Cr. Misc. No. 27004/ 2015 and the case of petitioner stands on the same footing. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39656 of 2015 (2) dt.31-08-2015 2/2 is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar in Shyampur Bhatha P.S.
