2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No. 100/2023 (G. R. No. 1045/2023), lodged on 07.04.2023under Sections341, 323, 307, 386, 387, 354, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prayer for bail of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 07.11.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 70962 of 2023 granting liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the charge has already been framed.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the antecedent of the petitioner is not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8336 of 2024(3) dt.19-04-2024 2/2 clean as he is accused in 21 more criminal cases. He further submits that on an earlier occasion, a report with regard to the present stage of the trial had been called for.

6. In response, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is true that there were 21 more criminal cases against the petitioner, but out of 21, in 10 he has been acquitted.

7. Upon perusal of the report of the trial Court, it appears that the trial is likely to be concluded within three months.

8. In the present facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

9. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No. 100/2023 (G. R. No. 1045/2023), pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Khagariais hereby rejected.

10. However, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within three months.
