In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No.752 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

The police has recovered 1.5 litres of illicit liquor from the rented shop of the petitioner, however, counsel for the petitioner submits that he has got no criminal antecedent. Looking to the quantity of liquor recovered and antecedent, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand
