For the Petitioner/s : Ms. Binita Singh, Advocate For the Respondent/s : None ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE and HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 01-11-2017 Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners, we condone the delay in filing of the application. I.A. No. 7387 of 2017 stands allowed and disposed of.
However, on merit we find that the interest at the rate of
Patna High Court C. REV. No.297 of 2017 (3) dt.01-11-2017 2/2 12% per annum has been calculated and directed to be paid by compounding quarterly, primarily on account of the fact that Digha Acquired Land Settlement Act, 2010 was enforced on 27th November, 2013 and the acquisition proceedings took place much prior to that and the consideration was made by the Bench while deciding the matter and the learned Single Judge passed the judgment much before 27th November, 2013 on 5th December, 2012 and this being the consideration by the Writ Court and the Division Bench while hearing LPA No. 210 of 2014, we see no error warranting re-consideration.
The review application is dismissed.
