1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders Commanding the especially ,direction/directions respondent authorities. respondent no. 3 (The District Magistrate) to held an enquiry in pursuance of various petitions filed by the general public including the petitioners in respect of misappropriation and misuse of public fund/ Development fund made available to Mukhiya of Gram Panchayat for execution

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
