Today, the University has handed over the draft of Rs. 201326/- dated 27.02.2018 purchased from the State Bank of India.
Let this draft be handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner for needful action.
In the second show cause, they have given details in what manner the calculation has been made and arrived to an amount, which has been stated hereinabove of which the draft has been given to the petitioner, but the learned counsel for the University submits that in paragraph-6, it has been stated that G.I.C. has been
Patna High Court MJC No.3604 of 2016 dt.07-03-2018 2/2 paid on 05.08.2015. So far calculation of admissible rate of interest till the date of payment is concerned, the same is under process and whatever amount is found payable, the same will be paid to the petitioner.
In such view of the matter, this Court directs the University to calculate the interest amount as soon as possible preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and transmit the amount to the petitioner within a period of 15 days thereafter.
