JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 12-04-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefa - (i) That this application has been filed for issuance of an order, direction, writ including writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to allot the public distribution shop to the petitioner at Ward No. 14, under Kumhrar Panchayat under Tariyani Block in Sheohar District, pursuant to the decision taken by the committee on 20.02.2016.

(ii) That for issuance of an order, direction or writ in

Patna High Court CWJC No.2721 of 2018 dt.12-04-2018 the nature of certiorari for quashing the notification dated 20.06.2017 passed by the District Magistrate, Sheohar and restraining the respondents concerned not to start fresh process for appointment of agent of Public distribution shop in Kumhrar Panchayat in Tariyani Block.

(iii) For any other relief that the petitioner may be found to be entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the present case.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite being selected for allotment of PDS shop, the licence has yet to be issued in his favour.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and has been heard.

4. Having regard to the nature of the grievance of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the ends of justice will be met if the petitioner is granted liberty to represent before the Sub Divisional Officer, Sheohar (Respondent No. 4) for redressal of his grievances. If any such representation is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered and disposed of expeditiously and preferably within a further period of eight weeks thereafter in accordance with law.
