1. The Writ petition is filed to quash the letter/ order dated 08.12.2015 issued by the Chief Regional Manager, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Patna, whereby the selection for the petitioner for RO Dealership has not been considered, in the terms of Dealership selection guidelines, 2014 vide result declaration dated 14.08.2015. Further relief sought by the petitioner is that to command the respondents to issue letter of intent (LOI) for RO Dealership in her favour and also sought other reliefs for declaring her as selected. Further I.A. No. 01 of 2024 was filed to quash the advertisement published in the year 2023, as the petitioner has been declared selected for RO Dealership of the same location in the year 2015, pursuant to the advertisement in the year 2014.

2. At this juncture, the Learned counsel for the respondents contended that fresh advertisement has been issued for RO Dealership for the same location after a lapse of 9 years and, therefore, the petitioner has to challenge the fresh advertisement which was published in the year 2023 and the same has become infructuous. Therefore, the Learned counsel for the petitioner intends to withdraw the Writ petition with a liberty to challenge the advertisement published in the year 2023 for the same location.

3. In view of the above, the Writ petition stands disposed of, granting leave to challenge the advertisement of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Patna, published in the year 2023.
