The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 13.09.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 45004 of 2019.
On the last occasion, a report was called for from the court below about the stage of the case. The report has been received, a perusal of which indicates that out of four non-official witnesses, three have already been examined. Only one witness is left to be examined.
The petitioner is stated to be in jail since 02.03.2019.
The prayer for bail is however rejected.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8583 of 2020(3) dt.03-07-2020 2/2 The trial court is directed to conclude the trial positively within a period of four months as only one witness is left to be examined. In case the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the court below for grant of bail.
