The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Uchakagaon P.S. Case No. 282/2018 dated 04.11.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 327, 337, 338, 307, 427, 504 and 353 of the Indian Penal Code.
From the perusal of the F.I.R., it appears that the residents of two villages indulged in brick-batting
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8480 of 2019(2) dt.14-02-2019 2/3 leading to injuries on some of the persons. Though, the petitioners have been named in the F.I.R., but there is no specific accusation against them either in the F.I.R. or in the investigation papers. With respect to the aforesaid occurrence, another F.I.R. has been lodged by the Mukhia of one of the villages.
Some of the accused persons of this case have been granted anticipatory bail by a Bench of this court vide order dated 29.01.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 3937/2019.
For the reasons aforesaid and taking into account that the petitioners have no criminal antecedents, they are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief
