The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Rani Talab P.S. Case No. 157 of 2021 corresponding to Special Case No. 5091 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

Prosecution case in brief is that 30 litres of country made liquor has been recovered from a motorcycle of which this petitioner is registered owner.

It is submitted that at the relevant time motorcycle in question was being driven by husband of the petitioner and without her knowledge and consent illegal wine was being transported. Petitioner is lady and she claims clean antecedent. Counsel for State opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to
