JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 05-02-2020 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Delha P. S. Case No. 248 of 2019 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 457/380 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the F.I.R., there is an allegation of theft of the idol of Lord Ganesh, twenty thousand rupees, and other articles from the house of the informant. Petitioner is not named in F.I.R.

As per learned counsel for the petitioner, except the confessional statement of accused person, there is nothing against the petitioner. He is in custody for 5 months and chargesheet has already been submitted, as such, there is no chance of tampering with the evidence.
