In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Piro P.S. Case No. 127 of 2008, registered for the offence under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation has been made that the petitioner and his father came to the field of the informant and his father resorted to firing upon the informant, as a result of which, the informant received pellet injury. Further allegation has been made that the present petitioner also resorted to firing upon the brother of the informant, but it was narrow escape.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8704 of 2019(2) dt.14-02-2019 2/2 Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same pass appropriate order on the same day without being influenced by the order of this Court.
