JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 23-09-2015 Heard both sides The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have repeatedly assaulted the informant with knife. As many as six injuries were found on different parts of the body of the informant. Two injuries are found to be grievous in nature. Injuries on eyes are also found to be grievous in nature. The petitioner is in jail since 13.01.2015. Having considered the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Ravilganj P.S. Case No. 134 of 2014, corresponding to S. Tr. No. 270/15. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months from the date of receipt /

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38404 of 2015 (3) dt.23-09-2015 2/2 production of this order holding the trial on day-to-day basis. If the trial is not concluded within the above period, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
