Wife of the petitioner died in harness on 16.3.2018. Thereafter, the petitioner approached the respondents for consideration of his case for compassionate appointment but the same is pending.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to take appropriate decision with regard to claim of the petitioner for compassionate
