JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN and HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE S. KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN) Date : 10-11-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, State and the private respondents.

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1511 of 2017 dt.10-11-2017 2/2 The girl Riya Soni is present. She has stated before us that she was allured for getting service and on that pretext she has signed the papers whereas the stand of the petitioner is that she had willingly gone to the Office of the Registrar (Marriage) and marriage was performed in accordance with law. Be that as it may, the girl is present before us and she has expressed her desire to stay with her parents and she does not want to go with the petitioner. Admittedly, she is major. In such a situation, we cannot compel the girl, Riya Soni to stay with the writ petitioner.

Accordingly, this writ application is dismissed. The petitioner undertakes to deposit all her belongings such as Aadhar Card, I-Card, Mobile Phone and all the certificates to the Officer In-charge, Khajekalan Police Station, Patna who himself will deliver the same to the girl within a period of two weeks after preparing a list which should be signed by the writ petitioner and the girl.
