1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Babubarahi P.S. Case No. 208 / 2023 dated 01.07.2023 registered under Sections 341, 323, 363, 366(A), 504 / 34 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case the informant's minor daughter has been kidnapped / abducted by the co-accused Pappu Paswan on 27.05.2023 and when the informant went to the house of the petitioners to make enquiry, the petitioners assaulted and abused her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7236 of 2025(3) dt.12-05-2025 2/3 petitioners have been made accused only because there is allegation that petitioners' son have allured the informant's daughter for marriage and have kidnapped for that purpose. The petitioners were having no information about the talk being made by their son i.e. the co-accused Pappu Paswan with the informant's daughter. There is no allegation of involvement of the petitioners in kidnapping / abducting the informant's minor daughter.

5. No one appears for the opposite party no. 2 despite having filed 'vakalatnama'.

6. Regard being had to the submission made by the parties, taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioners and the fact that petitioners are the parent of the co-accused Pappu Paswan who allegedly kidnapped the informant's minor daughter, accordingly, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.D.J. VIth District- Madhubani in connection with Babubarahi P.S.
