The petitioner seeks bail in Katihar GRP P.S. Case No. 20 of 2017 corresponding to GR Case No. 28 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8, 20, 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and section 137, 147 of the Indian Railway Act.

Lastly the bail application of petitioner was rejected vide order dated 17.03.2021. This is fifth attempt. Vide order dated 07.04.2022, report was called for regarding the stage of trial and same has been received (kept at flag 'R'), which reveals that all the prosecution evidences have been examined. Considering the stage of trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on bail. Accordingly, the
