The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 386 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that he received call from landline number 0613-2232662 and extortion was demanded. Other businessmen, the owner of Pramod Electronic and the owner of Agrawal Electronic also received call of demanding extortion. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner figured in the case during the course of investigation. It is submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent but he is in jail since 24.10.2012.
