1. A joint petition for compromise has been filed in the instant matter by filing an Interlocutory Application being I. A. No. 1 of 2024.

2. It appears from the joint application for compromise that the parties will settle the dispute on the following terms and conditions:

"The husband i.e. petitioner no. 1, Dr. Shashi Kant Yadav will pay a lumpsum amount of Rs. 80 lakhs to the Opposite Party No. 2, namely, Shashibala Suman as one time settlement in view of her maintenance. Out of 80 lakhs,

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.168 of 2019(10) dt.14-03-2024 2/2 petitioner has already paid Rs. 30 lakhs and the remaining 50 lakhs will be paid in four installments within consecutive four months."

3. In view of such settlement, the instant Criminal Revision is disposed of, directing the Trial Court to consider as to whether the petitioner pays the remaining amount of Rs. 50 lakhs in four consecutive months, in connection with Trial No. 748 of 2017, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 522 of 2009.

4. The learned S.D.J.M., Jhanjharpur, is directed to take note of payment of such money in four equal installments by the petitioner and on payment of such amount, the judgement and order of conviction passed by him and affirmed by the Court of Appeal shall be quashed and set aside on compromise.

5. With the above order, the instant Criminal Revision stands disposed of.
