The petitioner complains of encroachment over public land bearing Plot No.144 in Mauja Khiri, Anchal Bhagwanpur in the district of Kaimur.

A counter affidavit is filed by the Circle Officer who while submitting that Chak No.144 is raiyati plot further states that if it transpires from the records that the nature of land is public then appropriate proceedings would be drawn against the encroachers for removal of encroachment.

We are satisfied with the submission made in the counter affidavit to dispose of the writ petition which is accordingly disposed of.
