The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147/324/364(A)/307/379 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not named in the First Information Report, but only during the course of investigation on the basis of a confessional statement made before the police by one Aman Kumar Das, the name of the petitioner has surfaced, which has no evidentiary value. Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case and that the petitioner has a clean antecedent, let the
