The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307, 354B and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegations in the FIR, the twelve named accused persons including the petitioner herein assaulted the informant and others with lathi, farsa etc, tore away the clothes of Mosmat Sheela Devi and took away her silver ornament. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations as levelled in the FIR are false and concocted. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17476 of 2021(2) dt.03-09-2021 2/2 case being Annexure-3 to the petition having been lodged by the wife of one of the accused in the instant case. The petitioner is in custody since 29.9.2020 and has no criminal antecedent. Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case the petitioner being in custody for more than 11 months and having no criminal antecedent, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Laukaha P.S. Case no. 264 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhanjharpur, district Madhubani.
