Patna High Court CWJC No.5276 of 2018(2) dt.23-03-2018 2/3 CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 23-03-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, State as well as University.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the University is indecisive in the matter of taking action in finalizing the list of teachers appointed agaisnt sanctioned/recommended post. He submits that last date for the purpose of finalizing the list is 31.03.2018 and the University is sitting tight over the matter. Their apprehension is that the petitioners may be rendered without any remedy after 31.3.2018. He submits that in view of the above, the writ petition may be disposed of with direction to the University to take final decision in the matter of finalizing the list of the teachers working in the college in question by directing the Selection Committee constituted under Section 57 A of the Bihar State University Act, 1976.
Mr. Choudhary learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University submits that he will see that University should take final decision before 31.3.2018.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the University, if not already decided to take final decision one way of the other before 31.3.2018.
